I find a lot of axes to be pretty fast with lower top end damage bause of the greater speed. Where as most mes and fist weapons are slower with higher top end damage. You get better WF
hits and SS hits with slower and high top end damage weapons whh I believe to be why a lot of axes get skped by. There are good axes out theres just less slow ones than fast ones. The flurry axe that was mentioned is a good one.
thanks. I did find one good me for level 50, but I'm still using wirts third leg in my off hand.an I mix a
me in mh and axe in off hand?
I have a lowbie shaman, who is qukly boming my main bause I love him to bits. I find that the main reason I prefer Mes is that there seems to be more of them avaliable on the server I play on (Darkspear) in the AH partularly at my level. I have however just swapped to a staff and am loving that too. Ultimately though I would like to go dual wield fists for asteht reasons. The thought of my Tauren shammy with big ol'laws is irresistable.
I only went onto a 2 hander after I got my Water Totem so that the regem totem thingy would offset the loss in defee from my shield. I still haven't dided if it has been worth it yet.
EtherealSin wrote:Yes hean!Eept if your talking about 2h ones, you need a talent for them. You should see them, and you must have them to use them (jking o). Use what u have best. Axes are as good as mes...At lvl 42 youould get flurry axe a ne 1h axe for dual wield enhaement shamans. Good lk.
Well My twooopers worth is: It allome down to you! what do you want to do? Me,axe, twohand, onehand and staff,me I like the "sound" of axe hitting better than me or any other weapon, sounds more vious and deadly "shrug" just make sure you pk raw damg over dps , but hey! if thats all you have " you fight with what you bring" good lk and happy hunting.
