hard to do pre-70) you can easiely off-spec heal pre-70 instances. I healed up to Seth halls with no problem as Feral spec (using blue/green +heal gear). When you get to the harder lv 69-70 instances off-spec healing gets much harder and will in fact fail if you don't have a good group (which is often the case).
